Inlays and Onlays are a cosmetic dentistry technique we use to conservatively repair teeth that have large defective fillings or have been damaged by decay or trauma. Inlays are an ideal alternative solution to fillings, particularly when a patient has a large cavity in a tooth. Onlays, on the other hand, are an ideal alternative to crowns as they require the removal of less tooth structure in the preparations phase.
